In an emotional essay, Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah revealed the first signs he had dementia.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's 29-year-old daughter, Tallulah, opened up in a moving essay for Vogue about how she first knew something was wrong with her father. “It started out with a kind of vague unresponsiveness, which the family chalked up to Hollywood hearing loss: ‘Speak up! ‘Die Hard’ messed with Dad’s ears,’” she wrote. “Later that unresponsiveness broadened, and I sometimes took it personally.” Willis, 68, has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Tallulah also wrote about how she was in denial about her father’s declining health in recent years due to her own struggles with anorexia and ADHD. Her recovery has now helped her relationship with her dad. “I can bring him an energy that’s bright and sunny, no matter where I’ve been,” she wrote. Read more.
