Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, is expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes at the federal courthouse in Delaware this morning. This is the first time the Justice Department has brought charges against the child of a sitting president. Biden is accused of failing to pay in excess of $100,000 in federal taxes in 2017 and 2018. He has since paid the tax bill with interest, and prosecutors are expected to recommend a sentence of probation. Republicans have argued Biden received preferential treatment after a sweeping five-year investigation into his activities. The attorney general has denied those claims and the White House has said President Biden was not involved in his son's business ventures. Biden also faced a separate gun charge, however under an agreement that case may be wiped from his record. Here's the latest.
