Dev Drive: tailor-made for developers

Dev Drive is a new storage volume for developers that enables them to better manage their performance and security profile. This feature was announced on May 23 and presented at Microsoft Build. It is available to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel on build 23466 and above.

Backup and Restore enhancements

As it was announced on May 23, Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel can now access new backup and restore capabilities to make moving to a new PC easier than ever. These capabilities will help app developers retain customers during the PC transition.
