Pop singer Lizzo has responded after three of her former dancers filed a lawsuit this week alleging weight-shaming, sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. "The last few days have been gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing," she wrote this morning on Instagram. "My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.” Read more here. |

In a TODAY exclusive, Hoda had a chance to sit down with the family of legendary singer Tony Bennett, who died last month and would have turned 97 today. Bennett's wife, Susan, and his son Danny spoke about his incredible life, the love he had for everyone he knew, and some emotional moments from the final week of his life, including the last song he sang. “He sang ‘Because of You.’ We were getting him up to exercise, and so it was easy to just latch onto the piano," Susan recalled. Do you find yourself commuting between work and home with rare stops along the way? If you do, your life might be lacking a key ingredient to happiness: a “third place.” Think of it this way: Your "first place" is your home. Your "second place" is where you work or go to school. And your "third place" is a place that isn't either of those two, maybe a church, a coffee shop, a park or a bookstore. Experts we spoke to said third places play an important role in our social and mental health, particularly in an increasingly lonely society. So how do you find one? Learn more here. |

Achieve your life and health goals with easy tips. |
A few weeks back, we gave you tips on manifesting, or the process of changing your thoughts, words or beliefs in order to attract something you want in life. One tool you can use in your practice is a vision board, a collection of images intended to inspire and make you happy. But the buzzy-sounding items should be more than just a bunch of magazine cutouts of yachts, beaches and Keanu Reeves. (What? Oh. Sorry. He's on ours.) One expert told us to think of it more as a creativity and brainstorming exercise. "It's a great way to explore yourself and see what you are drawn to," one psychologist says. So do they actually work? And how can you figure out what to put on yours? To learn more, go here. |

Allow us to do the meal-planning for you. |
Today's recipe doesn't come from a professional chef, but from social media. Food writer and recipe developer Grace Elkus' Feta Fried Eggs are made with just two ingredients (feta cheese and, well, an egg) and the result is a delicious, crispy, chile-spiked meal in just 5 minutes. The technique may take a little practice, but don't give up! There's a reason the recipe has 20 million views on Instagram. Check it out here. |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
Back in March, Hoda Kotb revealed she had taken a break from Studio 1A to care for her daughter Hope, who had been hospitalized due to an illness. On Wednesday's show, Hoda gave a welcome update on the situation, saying the 4-year-old was "on the mend." Hoda's youngest daughter is the inspiration behind her new book, "Hope is a Rainbow." And although she wrote the book a year ago, Hoda said little Hope has recently taught her important lessons about resiliency and remaining optimistic. “It just reminds me — and she just reminds me — that hope is all around every corner," Hoda said. "No matter what you go through, no matter what hardship you endure, there she is.” |
