At least 36 people are dead and more than 11,000 have been evacuated from Maui after wildfires rapidly spread across the Hawaiian island yesterday, officials in Maui County said. Another 2,000 people are expected to leave by Friday, officials said. The fires on Maui and the Big Island have been fanned by the winds from Hurricane Dora, a Category 4 storm.
