They are called "hip dips," and they're simply an indentation where the hips meet the outer thighs. It's not a medical term or an actual condition — it's caused by genetics. Hips with dips are normal hips, and you can't get rid of them. They aren't harmful, but obsessing over them can be, experts say. One doctor told us that when it comes to all the "hip dips" content pushed by influencers, take it with a grain of salt.
