Some Republicans want more details on Sen. Mitch McConnell's health after another freeze-up.
Some Republicans raised concerns that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell isn't being up front about his health issues after the senator appeared to freeze up while speaking in public for the second time in recent weeks. “If he wants to stay as leader, he needs to be transparent and open about his current condition,” a House Republican who requested anonymity told NBC News. McConnell, who is 81, released a doctor’s note yesterday that said he is “clear” to return to work after the latest episode. Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said yesterday that McConnell is "not fit for office," while Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett also called for him to step aside. Read more.
