Mary Lou Retton is critically ill with pneumonia in the intensive care unit of a hospital, her daughters said this morning. "My amazing mom, Mary Lou, has a very rare form of pneumonia and is fighting for her life. She is not able to breathe on her own. She’s been in the ICU for over a week now," McKenna Kelley wrote on a crowd-funding page. It's not clear where Retton, who lives in Houston, is being treated.
