Why is Albania dangerous?
As an American having lived in Albania for six straight years, I and my family all felt much safer living in Albania than we ever did in the U.S. Now that we live back in America, I cringe everyday I drop off my children at school knowing there is a distinct possibility that my children could be shot and killed from an AR-15 by a lone gunman... or while we are at the movie theater, or at a restaurant, or at the grocery store, or at a sporting event, or at a concert, or at a hospital, or at church… well, you get the drift. We never once felt this uneasy while living in Albania. No, I would live in Albania over the U.S. any day simply for the fact that it is safe.
