Actor, comedian and YouTube host Russell Brand postponed his comedy tour amid allegations that he sexually assaulted multiple women. One of his comedy specials has been removed from Paramount+, while YouTube confirmed that it suspended advertising on his channel. Four women, who have not been named or spoken to NBC News, alleged that Brand raped, sexually assaulted or abused them between 2006 and 2013 in a joint investigation by Britain's Channel 4 TV, The Times of London and the Sunday Times. One of the women said she had a three-month relationship with Brand when she was 16. Brand denied the allegations in a video he posted to his social media accounts, saying the relationships were “always consensual.” Some people were also defending Brand's ex-wife, pop star Katy Perry, amid the allegations.
