[ltr]The U.S. Air Force member who set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., in a protest against the Israel-Hamas war on Sunday was identified yesterday as Aaron Bushnell. The 25-year-old airman from Massachusetts, who served at a base in San Antonio, filmed himself yelling “Free Palestine” before collapsing to the ground. He called the Israeli attack on Gaza "genocide." He then doused himself over the head with a liquid from a water bottle and set himself ablaze. Bushnell later died at a hospital from his injuries. [ltr]Does this look like a woman who's suffered "debilitating pain" from a car accident? An Irish judge didn't think so. Kamila Grabska, 36, had an $820,000 insurance claim dismissed by a court in Limerick after the above photo surfaced. Grabska said in court documents that a 2017 car accident left her unable to work, lift groceries or play with her children, the Irish Independent newspaper reported. Her case fell apart when a photo appeared in that paper a year after her accident showing Grabska launching the winning toss in a Christmas tree throwing contest. Continue reading. [/ltr]
