In Ohio, voters passed a ballot initiative that enshrined abortion rights in the state constitution, while Democrats won back control of the legislature in Virginia after Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin campaigned on enacting new abortion restrictions. In Pennsylvania, a Democratic state Supreme Court candidate was able to win a race in which abortion rights were a top issue.
